How to Get Here

The conference will be in the city of Cancún, in southern México.

Cancún is located in southern Mexico (on the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, as shown in the above map). With over 2 million visitors each year, Cancún is Mexico’s most visited beach side resort. Launched in 1974 as a planned resort built from scratch, Cancún has today one of the best touristic infrastructures in México. Cancun has 200-plus days of yearly sunshine accompanied by temperatures averaging 80 °F (25 °C) that can seem much warmer. It also has beautiful beaches with white sand, and its clear blue-green sea is perfect for swimming, scuba diving and other water activities, and the city is a great place for shopping, and is located within a short traveling distance from some of the most important archaeological wonders of Mexico (e.g., Chichén Itzá). Cancún is also particularly easy for foreigners to travel around, since most people speak English.
